A couple pieces of note, firstly, NEW JUSTICE REMIX. Now, a lot of blogs are hatin’ on it saying it’s “Standard Justice sound,” which it may sort of be, but is that such a bad thing? It’s a SUPER thumper. Also, the Hemingway remix is REALLY cool, do enjoy that one. All the songs in this edition of EG are great, really, so just let them hit you.

New Mix from DJ Danl

I haven’t recorded anything in a while, so I made a 30 minute mix for funsies. There’s a really wonky transition near the beginning but the rest is fire.

Also, the end kind of just tapers out, I recorded this while I was mixing with Greaves, so he was just coming in with another song on his computer, thus the loop and fade.

What a weekend, eh? Damn, to quote Asher: “That party last night was awfully crazy, I wish we taped it…” 

Anyway, I’ve got a bunch of fantastic music for you guys, but DON’T WORRY, I’ll get the genre right this time…

SO, a bunch of remixes today, a “Thong Song” remix that I KNOW ya’ll are gonna love, I mean, cmon, Sisqo? How could you not? Also, everyone’s favorite Passion Pit song “Sleepyhead” gets a nice Knocks remix that’s kinda soft but hits hard enough for how mellow the song is, enjoy that one. A N.A.S.A. remix, we love those guys here at JGNP, so give them a little love. Another Barletta remix of an Obscene Kidz song that makes me all hot and bothered when I listen to it. And a remix by Designer Drugs of a Protokoll song, love that name, that rocks really hard in the middle, buildup is…good, but once it drops, it is glorious.

Happy Super Bowl Sunday, go (not going there)! Hope they win!

Anyway, got a bundle of great techno for you this week. All bangers, very fun, extremely danceable, let’s get to it. 

A Britney remix that has a kind of Euro-house feel mixed with that “Jizz in My Pants” remix. An absolute banger original by The Touch, very rock techno, distorted guitar and hard drums make this an epic win of a song. Another fantastic Yuksek remix (New LP Fbruary 2nd, check the myspace) of a White Lies song,  you will sing with this one, it’s so catchy. A Disco Wizards song that’s VERY good, super bangin, super loud, very distorted. You’ll enjoy these, I promise.

Britney Spears – Womanizer (Dskotek Remix)

I know I’m late with this one. Actually had it lying around for a little bit.  All those folks who will be attending  a 3DI show in the coming months will prolly hear us spinning this. It is an absolutely fire take on the pop queen’s new cut. The boys (or girls?) at Dskotek are doing their damn thing, everyone should check out some of their other stuff.
